The baptism of the Holy Spirit is when a believer is filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit in a deeper way for boldness, witness, and spiritual power. It is not just about having an emotional moment. It is about receiving power from God to live for Jesus and do what He has called you to do. When you are saved, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you. But in Scripture, we also see believers being filled, clothed, and baptized with the Holy Spirit for power. Jesus told His disciples to wait for this promise from the Father. These were already men who believed in Him, followed Him, and had walked with Him, yet He still told them they needed power from on high.
