Vision
Encounter House of Prayer exists because one encounter with Jesus changes everything. This all started not with a building, a name, or a strategy, but with Jesus.
Encounter was born from a radical, personal moment with the living God. It was a moment that broke down religion, restored identity, and set a heart on fire for revival. That single encounter became the seed for a community passionate about helping others experience the same life-altering presence of God.
We’re convinced the Church today needs to return to something far more ancient and powerful than programs or personalities. We need to return to the kind of church found in Acts 2, devoted, prayer-filled, Spirit-led, and centered entirely on Jesus.
At Encounter, we’re not trying to build a brand or host polished services. We’re here to create a place where God is welcome to dwell and move freely. We want people to walk in and leave changed..not because of a sermon or a song, but because they met with Him.
The mission is simple and deep. We long to see people truly encounter Jesus. From there, we believe in walking with them in discipleship, not just Sunday inspiration, but daily transformation. And out of that life of intimacy with God, we believe revival can be sparked in families, schools, cities, and entire regions.
Real revival doesn't start with stadiums. It starts with surrendered lives.
At our core, we are committed to living out the Word of God. Not just quoting it. Not just hearing it. Living it. We don’t believe transformation happens from feel-good messages or hype—it happens when the Word and Spirit come together in power. We teach the Bible in full context, helping people not only understand what it says but how it applies to their lives right now.
Discipleship is everything to us. Jesus didn’t just save people; He made disciples. And He told us to do the same. That means walking together through the highs and lows, challenging one another to grow, and calling out the gifts God has placed inside every believer. We’re not interested in spectators—we want to raise up sons and daughters who know who they are in Christ and walk in boldness and purity.
Our gatherings reflect our heart. Sometimes they happen in living rooms, sometimes in larger spaces—but the goal is always the same: to encounter Him. We worship, we pray, we break bread, we open the Scriptures, and we wait on God together. It’s not flashy, but it’s real. And all of this comes back to that one moment. When everything changed. When religion died and relationship began. When the presence of Jesus became more than a concept—it became everything. That’s where Encounter House of Prayer was born.
We carry a burden for the Church in America to come back to its first love. Too many are going through the motions, quoting spiritual things without real spiritual power.
At Encounter, we’re calling people back to Jesus—unfiltered, unboxed, and undeniably present. Once you’ve truly encountered Him, you can never go back to business as usual.
